Red wigglers and nightcrawlers are this store's whole reason to exist: we source from established U.S. worm farms (including Texas growers), confirm the worms are active and the count is real, and have them shipped straight to your bin. Feeder insects ride along as a second shelf for reptile keepers.
This store's specialty. Established U.S. worm farms, honest counts, shipped in breathable bedding. We do not sell jumping worms / Alabama jumpers (Amynthas) β prohibited invasives, full stop.
The composting standard (Eisenia fetida). Source farm picked for your region and weather.
Bigger cousins β composting, soil building, and bait. Hardy shippers in cool months.
Tropical speed-breeders for warm bins and greenhouse systems. Thin supply β confirmed per order.
1 lb red wigglers + bedding + a plain-English starter guide, in one confirmed order.
For the reptile keepers who found us through worms. Same breeders' network, same confirm-then-charge flow.
Live feeder staple for reptiles, birds, and chickens, from dedicated mealworm breeders.
High-energy feeders shipped with food medium so they arrive active, not starved.
Calcium-rich feeders (BSFL) for poultry and reptiles.
Non-climbing feeder roaches. Not shippable to Florida, Alabama, or Hawaii β checked before confirmation.
We are a sourcing service, not a warehouse. Live animals shouldn't sit in a box in a warehouse waiting for a buyer.
Typical timeline: confirmation within 1 business day; most breeders ship live orders MondayβWednesday only, so a Friday request usually ships the following Monday. We'll always tell you the ship date before charging you.
Live animals are perishable. Orders ship early in the week (MonβWed) to avoid weekend warehouse stays. During extreme heat or cold, shipments may be held until a safe window β we email you before any hold, and you may cancel for a full refund instead of waiting. "Hold for pickup" at your local carrier hub is available on request and strongly recommended in summer and winter.
If a significant portion of your order arrives dead, email us within 24 hours of the carrier's delivery scan with a clear photo of the shipment as received. We will, at your choice: reship once at no charge, or refund the item price (shipping refunded if the carrier/supplier accepts responsibility for a transit delay). Normal transit stress β a small number of losses in a bulk count β is not DOA; as a working rule, losses above roughly 10% of a counted order qualify. We never ask you to ship dead animals back.
Live goods cannot be returned and restocked β that would be unsafe for the animals and for other customers. Cancellation is free any time before your card is charged (i.e., before you approve the confirmed total). After shipment, the DOA policy above is the remedy. Wrong species or count? That's on us: reship or full refund, your choice.
Most worm farms do not ship to HI, AK, or PR, and we honor that. Dubia roaches cannot ship to FL, AL, or HI. We never sell or ship Amynthas (jumping worms / Alabama jumpers) anywhere β they are prohibited invasive species in several states (including MN, NY, ME, WI). Our confirmation step includes a state check for your exact order, before any charge. [Placeholder: final restriction matrix to be completed before launch.]
Worm prices move by season, farm, and shipping weather. We quote a floor, confirm the real total with the farm, and charge only what you approved.
That's the point of the confirmation step: we ask the farm for the count and condition of the actual batch, and our DOA policy (photo within 24 hours) covers significant shortfalls and losses.
Never at request time β only after we confirm and you approve the exact total. Can't source it at that price? Hold released, you pay nothing.
No. Prohibited invasive species in several states and an ecological problem everywhere. We exclude them entirely.
We tell you within 1 business day, release any hold, and waitlist you if you want. No charge.
Prototype form β submitting does not place an order or charge anything. In the live version, this form opens the concierge flow described above.
